Hi I'm Cade

I got 99 problems...but my faith ain't one! Imma Mormon, bounce!

About Me

I was born in the state of New Mexico in '91. We moved to Arizona where i grew up for most of my younger years as a kid. When i was about 7 we moved to Utah where I now reside. I grew up in an awesome family. My parents are my biggest examples. Without them I wouldn't be who I am today. I'm the oldest of 5. I have 1 younger sister and 3 younger bro's who I enjoy spending time with and teasing. I love spending time with my family. I have an awesome group of friends who have been a big source of help and inspiration in my life also. My biggest hobby is playing basketball. Wherever, with whoever, at any time of the day. I love everything about the game.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. Growing up I never really had any doubts about this Church and the Gospel. I would always hear about everyone else's conversion stories about how they had their 'sign' that this Church and the Gospel was true. And I never had that growing up. Still haven't had that experience. But as I got older and more involved with this Gospel, I came to realize that I do know its true. Throughout my life growing up in this Gospel, looking back now, I can see how much it has really blessed my family and myself personally. My sure knowledge of the truthfulness of the Gospel didn't come all at once though. It gradually came. So im a Mormon because I know without a doubt that this is Christ's true Church and Gospel, restored on the earth in its fulness. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and this Gospel is the one and only solution to any problem or trial that we go through. And that it is the only way that we can recieve the fulness of happiness and joy that our Heavenly Father want us to have. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way we can fully use and apply the Atonement in our lives. Thats why imma Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now im lm living my faith by serving a mission. I got called to serve in the Washington Spokane Mission. I left in July, 2010 and am serving until July, 2012. I try to do my best to be an 'Example of the believers' and to be a servant of Christ. Trying to do what he did is a very humbling and a very growing experience. Im loving it though! Its the hardest thing ive ever done in my life. But also the most rewarding thing ive ever done.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Cade
The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is another witness, like the Bible, that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer. It testifies of His love he has and His Atonement that He has performed for us. Like the Bible, the Book of Mormon is written by many different prophets and apostles of Christ. The Bible and the events in it, take place over in Jerusalem and the Holy Lands. The Book of Mormon and the events in it, take place in the ancient Americas. It contains Gods dealings with the ancient inhabitants in the Americas. God called prophets among the people in the Book of Mormon/ ancient Americas just like He called prophets in the Bible/Holy Lands such as, Moses, Abraham, Isaih etc... The Book of Mormon is comparable to the Bible. A lot of people think that we put the Book of Mormon above or add to or take away from the Bible. But, we dont. We believe the Bible to be Gods word along with the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is here to prove the Bible true. It is here to help us know how to follow Christ's example just like the Bible does. The Book of Mormon is the keystone to our religion. I know that if one takes the invitation to read it with an open mind and open heart and with real intent, then they will come to know of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost.
