Hi I'm Sally

I grew up in Utah and now live in Seattle, WA. I love college basketball, I am a twin and have twin boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports especially college basketball. I played and coached at the collegiate level. I love to hike, camp, and fish with my family. I am a mom of twin boys and a wife of a law student.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ because I love how it makes me feel. When I follow the teachings of Christ the Holy Ghost is with me guiding me in my life. He brings me comfort when I need comfort, strength when I need strength, and guidance when I need guidance. It is a wonderful feeling to know you have a Heavenly Father who cares and loves you for who you are. Heavenly Father is always there when you pray sincerely. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior. He died so I can have a way to return to Him again. I know the Book of Mormon is true scripture and when we read and follow its teachings we will come to know Jesus Christ better. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet. He followed directions from our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to restore the gospel on the earth today. Because of that restoration we have a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. What great blessings come from living the gospel of Jesus Christ! I am truly blessed to have a wonderful husband, children, mom, dad, brothers and sisters.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I have served with the youth in the church, taught lessons on Sunday, taught young children, organized a young women camp, helped with activities, visited members, etc. I am willing to serve in any capacity the Lord needs me as I know He will help me do the things I need to do to help others. I was able to serve a mission in Madagascar which brought me closer to our Savior and the Malagasy people. I loved watching the Lord's hand in other people's lives as I served Him.
