Hi I'm Garrett

Im a believer in Jesus Christ im a believer that there is a plan for us all to be happy in life.

About Me

My passions in life are sports, music, and helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I was never active in church. In fact, church was the farthest thing on my mind. I was entagled in the ways of the world, and I wanted nothing to do with church. During this time, I was completely miserable. My life felt completely pointless, I was just wandering in a dark abyss. I was depressed and I felt like I had nobody who was there for me. I never fully saw how much my family cared about me and how much they were doing for me. But I soon came to realize that I did have a meaning in life, that i did have others who cared for me. I remember on a certain day, that I felt a strong impression that I needed to go to church. I had no idea why, or why that even entered my mind. Especially since it had been a long time since I went. As I was at church, it felt like any ordinary church service. But I soon came to realize why I felt the impression to go. As I was sitting in church, two missionaries, out of the blue approached me. They asked me what my name was and said that they hadn't seen me at church before. Then that night, they just happened to knock on my door. From that moment on, I saw that the missionaries were normal people, and that they truly did care about me. After that, I started to go back to church and I started to make changes in my life. Within three months, I completely changed my life. I felt the love of God so strongly. I truly knew that he knew me and loved me, I felt a purpose in life, and I was filled with so much happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what God has commanded me to do. As I obey his commandments, I am blessed with peace and joy. The more I willingly and lovingly do for him, more and more blessing enter into my life.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Garrett
The family is so important, because families are indeed ordained of God. In our families, we can experience true love peace joy and happiness. We know that our families are not to stay only on the earth, but that through the Temple, we can be with our families for all time and eternity. Show more Show less
