Hi I'm Lisa

I was born in raised in Mesa, Az. I'm a stay at home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for almost 4 years. I have one little girl and another on the way. I enjoy reading and jogging. I have a college degree in Business Management. I love spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember the day I was baptized and I knew from that day on I was never really alone. I knew that Heavenly Father loved me and watched out and protected me and guided me. Over the years since then there have been times where I felt that love. From help with school classes and friends to losing loved ones and knowing that I will be with them again. I know that my Heavenly Father lives and that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that if I live worthily here on earth, I can live with them again.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the women that are 18 years and older one Sunday a month. The lesson is usually based on a talk given by one of the leaders in our church. I enjoy being able to discuss these talks with the other women in my area and get to know their viewpoints and understanding of what was taught. I am also on a board that helps plan meetings at least once a quarter where the women are able to get together and participate in a gospel centered activity. I also read my scriptures daily and pray daily. I try to live my life so that I can invite the Holy Ghost to be my constant companion - that I can be doing those things that my Heavenly Father would want me to do.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Lisa
The family is the central to our religion. We believe that we much can be learned in the family, but we also believe that we will live with our families in the life after death. Families are amazing and can provide much love and support as we do our best each day. Show more Show less
