Hi I'm Jenni

I am a mom. I am a wife. I am a foster parent. I am a runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 29 year old woman. I have a handsome, hardworking husband and 5 darling children. I enjoy home decorating, crafts, and running. although I spend most of my hours cleaning and playing with my kiddos My husband and I were blessed to have 3 birth children within 5 years, but our family still felt incomplete, so we looked into foster care and adoption. We have since added our 2 other children. We can't imagine our life without them. Some people look at us funny, since we are a family that showcases 3 ethnicities. Some even question if we are "a real family". But, I know God makes families. Mine included. We have by sealed together forever inside Heavenly Fathers holy Temple. We will be together forever. They are my world now and forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have found peace here. I have found happiness when I live God's commandments. As a teenager, I decided to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover. As I finished, I prayed to my Father in Heaven if it is true. I cannot deny the sudden peace, comfort, and warmth that filled my heart. I know God answered my prayer. He told me, through my heart, that they are His words.Since that experience I have prayed to Heavenly Father for answers to many questions. He has always answered me. Sometimes it's not in a way that I had hoped, but He hears me. He knows me. If I let Him, he will guide my path. and my life is ALWAYS better when I follow him I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know God has a prophet on Earth today, that speaks His word. I know Joseph Smith went into a grove of trees and prayed for direction, and just as God has led me, He also helped Joseph to know where to turn for peace. I know that I have a Savior Jesus Christ. Even though I am imperfect, Jesus Christ will help make up the difference for my imperfections. My goal is to live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church. I help out in my ward by organizing visiting teaching. Visiting teaching is a program where ladies 18 and over make friends with each other and talk about gospel topics. They also make sure that each woman is taken care of. spiritually and physically This is alot of fun for me! I also teach in the primary kids classes sometimes. these kids are 18 months to 11 years old The children in primary make me feel so happy. They are sweet and definately funny!! When I spend time volunteering for the church, my life is different. a very good different I am able to see the best in others, instead of their faults. It helps me to be a better wife and mother when I see the good qualities in others. I am so grateful Heavenly Father has trusted me with the opportunity to be a part of his church.
