Hi I'm Steven
I'm a Mormon.
My wife and I have been Married 35 years and have 6 children, and have been a Mormon since I was 8 years old. I have enjoyed my family so much over the years. I can't imagine raising a family in the world today without the gospel of Jesus Christ in my home and life. I have worked hard in my life to raise and care for my family and teach them the importance of family. I like woodworking and golfing, old cars and spending time with my family and friends. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my wife. She is my best friend. We have been so blessed in our marriage and the great choice we made to be active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because I know that the Church is true. It is the only religion in the world that I know of that each worthy male has the opertunity to hold the Priesthood. I am thankful to be a Priesthood holder and be able to offer a blessing of health and or comfort to those in need. Over the years I have been able to use this Priesthood power to bless my children when they have been sick or afflicted. One of my son's had cancer when he was 6 years old. (Hodgekins Lymphoma) We had so many prayers and so much help from people and the Lord that I could never refuse the truthfullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My son is doing well after the 18 months of Chemotherapy he has been cancer free for 23 years. I choose to be a Mormon and have never regreted that choice and jump for joy because of the decision I made.
How I live my faith
I have been very active in my church over the years. I have been a nursery leader, Scout Master, Sunday School Teacher, Priesthood Leader, played sports whithin the church such as Basketball, Softball. I am greatful for the opertunity to serve my community also. There are many people blessed by my service to the community besides me. However I receive the most blessing.
