Hi I'm Zane

I grew up in New Zealand. I worked with an organisation that kept kids off drugs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 29 years old. Have been married for five years. Love singing, reading, computers, and swimming. I have a degree and am currently working as a debt collection officer. I love meeting new people. Hope to have children soon and love travelling. I love playing board games and socialising with other members. I love to work with young people and also enjoy meeting people from different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that Heavenly Father came into my life exactly when I needed him. Life was not going so well. I was doing things that were making me unhappy as a person. I was becoming someone that I knew I had tried so hard to avoid being. Heavenly Father showed me the light. Just when I had hit rock bottom, the missionaries knocked on my door. At first I didn't believe what they said. But then I started to pray and feel good about myself and about the church that I knew I couldn't deny it any longer. Heavenly Father showed me that there was much more to life then what I was seeing. That's when I knew that if I wanted that good life, some things in my life would have to change. I'm so grateful that I have come to know the church. Without the gospel in my life, I wouldn't have met my wife. I possibly would not have graduated with my degree, and I would possibly still be doing those things that I know didn't make me happy. The church is true. I know in my heart that its real. I know that God lives. I lived both a gospel and non-gospel centred lives and can tell you that there is eternal joy to be gained from living the gospel. I love my Heavenly Father. I leave this testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

Both my wife and I participate in the youth programme in our church. We organise activities for them as well as teach them the gospel in Sunday School Classes. We have found these activities to be fun, exciting and a great way to learn principles of the gospel. At home we say prayers, we read the word of God, and we go to church every Sunday as a family. This has always brought much love, peace and joy into our lives and into the lives of others. As a member of this church it is so wonderful to know that there are friends that experience life the way we do. By doing this we are able to share experiences and stories to help one another. I love the life I live and wish this kind of life for everyone.
