Hi I'm Mike

I'm a blessed husband and father. I'm a dentist, or tooth artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father. I love to spend time with my four crazy kids. They are a blessing in my life, they bring me back to reality. If I have a hard day at work, I know they will be happy to see me, no matter what. We like to spend time outdoors: camping, riding bikes or playing basketball.  I like to read pretty much anything. I love to learn about history, people and places. I am fascinated with choices people make and how they learned from their experiences. In my job, I deal with people when they are not at their best. They may be nervous, or in pain. I try to comfort them, get to know them, and help them overcome their difficulties. I really enjoy when I can talk to someone and help them relax and answer their questions. I also love the artistic side to my work, creating something beautiful and natural. I think I am happiest when I am with my wife and children playing games or just hanging out and watching them enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have experienced the fruits of the gospel. I feel joy and peace at church, in the temple or when giving service to others.  My testimony grew as I served a mission for the church in Salt Lake City, interestingly. I met so many people that had heard of the church before, and I was able to teach them more about the gospel. This allowed me to help them feel the Spirit of the Lord in their lives. I believe in the family, and I know that the family can be together forever. This perspective improves my relationship with my spouse and my children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what the Lord asks of me. I strive to set an example of righteousness for my family.  I work alongside the bishop to help the families in our ward, or congregation, by organizing home teaching. This program is where we work to stay connected by visiting, serving and teaching one another. I also work closely with the local missionaries to help share the gospel with others. I love the gospel, and I want to help others feel the joy that comes from following the Savior.
