Hi I'm Marcy

I'm a fun-loving, mother of 7 incredible kids, married to the man of my dreams. I am a passionate entrepreneur and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of sports enthusiasts so I was quite a tom-boy. In fact, at the age of 9, I was the only white girl in a girls basketball league in Las Vegas. At age 12, I was one of two girls in Little League Baseball. Being different didn't bother me. In fact, I loved it! Being a tom-boy didn't stop me from dreaming of someday becoming a mother. Happily, my dream was realized 7 times over! I absolutely love having a large family. With 7 children I am often asked why I would bring so many children into such a crazy world. My answer is always the same. I think there is no better way I can contribute to society than to bring children into the world that have been raised in a loving home by a mother AND a father that have taught them correct principles. Although being a mother is very rewarding, I also love being an entrepreneur. My husband and I recently started a new business in the health and wellness field. It is so fun having my husband as my best friend and business partner. I am passionate about nutrition and living an active lifestyle. It is so fulfilling to be involved in something that improves lives. I love studying personal development and have a library full of great books. I love to travel. I enjoy the outdoors. I have an eye for interior design and love creating new accessories and floral arrangements. I'm looking forward to becoming an amazing grandma in the next few years!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family. My family has always been active members of our faith and I felt our church was true. However, when I was 18 years old one of my best friends was killed in a motorcycle accident. It was a pivotal moment in my life. It rocked my faith and I began to seriously question my beliefs. After about 18 months of wandering aimlessly through the experiences of life, I became very unhappy. I decided to find out for myself if the Mormon church was true. I read and studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I prayed more earnestly than I had previously in my life. It wasn't a miraculous event but more of a spiritual journey of deep personal experiences. Little by little I began to feel in my heart that I was back on the right path. I began to feel my Heavenly Father's love for me in a very personal way. People began to appear on my path that I know now were sent from God as answer to my prayers. I felt my life had purpose again and I was happy. I am very grateful to have a knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is overwhelming to think that my Savior could love me enough to sacrifice his life so that I could live with Him again someday. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth that receives revelation from God to help ALL of us living in the world today. I know that the Bible AND the Book of Mormon are true. They go hand in hand to testify of Jesus Christ. I know that me and my family are bound together for eternity. That knowledge brings me great joy and peace.

How I live my faith

The Mormon religion is not just a Sunday religion. It is more of a way of life. I believe to be a good Mormon is to be a good Christian. I hope to be the kind of person that others will see as a good example. I love to serve others. I look for opportunities to help my friends and neighbors by cooking meals, babysitting kids, or just lending a listening ear. I have women that I visit each month to see how they are doing and if they need any help. At church I help organize activities and special events (such as baptisms) for children from 18 months to 12 years old in 10 local congregations. As a woman in my church I have had many leadership responsibilities over the years that have helped prepare me for my current career. One of the biggest goals I have for the future is to be able to serve missions with my husband to teach people all over the world the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
