Hi I'm Wil Sanders

I Play Bass Guitar, I Love Motorcycles, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. I love everything about it. I love sunshine and rain. I love my family. I have wonderful parents, an awesome younger brother, and terrific older sister; who is married to a great guy. I love being outdoors. I love just kicking it with my friends. I am a no stress, easy-going, fun loving, and kind of guy. I enjoy sports, music, fine art, fishing, camping, hiking, and just about everything else. I love working on and riding my motorcycles. I really enjoy just taking time to sing or jam on my bass guitar. I guess you could say I am a jack-of-all-trades.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was real young. Then life went on. Along the way, during my teen years I began to become skeptical of God and religion. I questioned everything. I trusted nothing. When I turned eighteen I exerted my independence. I decided that I was not going to go to church. My life quickly fell apart. I had nothing. I felt so alone. Through my mother’s encouragement, I decided to just start praying again. I was unsure if there was a God, but if there was, I was going to ask him whether or not he was there and if he cared about me at all. My life got better. Then I found an old copy of The Book of Mormon. I decided that since I had never read it before I should find out if it was true. So I read it. Then I did what the introduction encourages everyone everywhere to do: I asked God if it was true. The funniest thing happened. I received my answer. As it turns out there is an all knowing and all powerful being out there. He loves us; All of us. He is truly our Father in Heaven. He wants to hear from us. He was there all along. He was waiting for me to stopping be selfish. He was waiting on me to not be so prideful in thinking that I knew better than everyone else including him. I am very grateful to my Heavenly Father for all the marvelous blessings that he has given to me. I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself for you and me. Through Christ's Atonement we can return to live with Christ and Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. I rely so much on the Lord for strength in my everyday life. I constantly pray and read my scriptures for answers to life’s many questions. I try to be more like my Savior every day. I try to emulate his qualities and make them apart of my character. I live my life always trying to be charitable and kind to everyone I meet. I am currently serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I invite others to follow Jesus Christ and come unto him daily.

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Wil Sanders
It only makes sense if he is the Savior of the World. He came to redeem all people. We know that the only way to be saved is through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Which is: Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of The Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End. Back in Ancient times they did not have the Technology we have today. Jesus did not Skype. So He would have to come here himself to give his message, and proclaim his gospel. He loves them as much as he love you and me. He does not any of his children to be lost. Show more Show less
