Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Utah. I live in Arizona now. I am a father, and a children's book author. I'm a teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello Everyone! I am excited to say a little about myself. To start of I would just like to say that I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up in the Church, so I have been a member my whole life. I grew up in Utah in a wonderful family. After High School I went to college for a year at BYU, then on a mission to Barcelona, Spain for two years, and then back to BYU to finish up my degree in Humanities. During my Junior year at BYU I started teacher seminary part time at a Special Needs school and then transferred to full time seminary teaching my senior year. I have been teaching seminary since then. I now live in Arizona where my wife and two kids and I try to stay out of the heat during the summer and try to visit the zoo as much as possible during the winter months. After we moved to Arizona, my wife and I continued our education at ASU where I received my Masters degree in Education Administration Supervision and Leadership and my wife received her law degree. Now we are getting ready for my children's book to come out and be published. Life is good and I love being a member of this Church during this wonderful time!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the happiness that it brings to my life. My parents taught me where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going after this life. That knowledge has brought me peace and has helped me know the correct paths to take during my journey here on earth. I am Mormon because I have a testimony that Jesus is my Savior and that this Church is true. I have prayed to know if The Book of Mormon is true and if Joseph Smith was a true prophet and I have received my answer on many occasions by the amazing power of the Holy Ghost. I have also felt the love of the Savior as he has guided me, forgiven me, chastise me, and helped me on my journey here on earth! I am Mormon because I have felt the Savior's love and compassion!

How I live my faith

I am very active in my faith and in my religion as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! Part of my activity comes from the fact that I am a full time seminary teacher for the LDS Church. Each day I teach 150 High school students lessons found in the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other scripture. I really enjoy that! Aside from my profession I also am involved in the Scouting program in our neighborhood and in the missionary effort in our area. My wife and I also team teach the seven year old primary class in our church on Sundays. We are busy, but it makes us happy to serve and teach!
