Hi I'm Sande

I'd rather Draw than talk. I am a Married, Mom,Grandma,Artist,Hair Stylist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband would tell you I redecorate and rearrange a lot. He never knows what the house will look like when he gets home. He loves to cook. We both had kids before we blended lives. My at home still son's in charge of recycling, garbage, animal feeding, homework and going to school. I use my art in lots of ways and have a mini hair salon at home but my most important jobs are raising my son, running a household and giving support to our older kids and doing what I can to keep the extended family connected thru reunions & keeping a family history of photos.I have found principles in the church give me guidance in developing good character traits and adhering to high values to guide my path.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon but later as an adult I learned that something about my church really brought a good spirit to my life/when I tried not being part of church for awhile I missed the eternal perspective and the quiet calm and peace and true happiness that participating in a The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints(Mormon) and seeking to follow the commandments. My family prays together share scriptures and uplifting stories or thoughts daily morning and nite.we read together, watch educational shows and use a filter to make movies clean. Our home is filled with family photos and family art. I love to design signs, clothes, posters anything needed in service to friends, church and school activities.I feel all of this is greatly enhanced by being a Mormon. Our last 2 land lords didn't want us to leave and even lowered our rent Cause we were so family oriented, didn't have alcohol, smoking, drugs and we try to keep our home a good atmosphere for us and visitors. Much of this we are guided and encouraged to do through many resources through the church. We have colleges, magazines, broadcasts, wholesome plays, service projects, emergency preparedness and so much more-each of us is asked to have callings without pay. It could be teaching, scouting, girls camp, youth, children or adult or family fun activities. It's a full life-style and everyone is welcome.

How I live my faith

I seek to use faith in my life in dealing with life's challenges. I've had many health problems. My faith has kept me going in darkest of times and has brought many friends that have been a great solace and anchor through bad and good times. We have huge diversity in our congregation. Many walks of life, languages ages etc.. It's very enriching interesting. I am very complicated and somehow I find that being Mormon keeps a thread of simplicity in my journey.
