Hi I'm Kathy

My life now is a Domestic Engineer, Professional Student, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, aspiring to be Christ-like, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Life offers so much and I have wanted to enjoy as much of that as possible. I have always had an interest in various areas of the arts, crafts, sewing, dance, musical instruments, singing, photography, reading, sports, exploring, traveling, cooking, gardening, organizing, decorating, education, and family. I have tried to incorporate as much as I can in my life. Everything does have its time and place in life and has to be balanced, along with desires not always working out as planned. After marriage, having children, and a grandchild, I still try to live life all I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in a stalwart Latter-Day Saint family and living in Utah as a child was easy for me to be a "Mormon". As a teenager in California with very few Latter-Day Saints close around, I stood out with living by higher standards than most of my other peers and felt that I needed to always live my religion the best I knew how. Doing what was right usually came easy to me and I found great strength in that and being an example to others. I have always had a strong testimony of the truth of the restored gospel. It has always made sense to me and I have felt that peace and comfort that comes from living by those truths and believing in my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Over the many years of my life, I have learned more about service, speaking in public, teaching children, working with other people for events, keeping a good home, being involved in the public school system, serving in the community, participating in politics, the importance of the Scouting program, and youth programs, and so many other aspects of life from participating in the programs of the Latter-Day Saint church that has helped me to live a better life, be a better person, and want to share my beliefs with others.
