Hi I'm Brittany

I grew up in Seattle. I love the rain and craft projects. I'm a wife and a mother of two young children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a typical stay at home mom who likes to think that my ordinary life is special. I love all things domestic, from cooking and baking to sewing and organizing. I love children's books, rainy days, and spending time with my husband and young children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church and just always knew that it was true. I am constantly in awe of the blessings that are in my life because I'm LDS. I am a better wife, mother, and neighbor because I trust in my Heavenly Father's plan for me and try to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My mother was introduced to the Church as a teenager and she, along with my father, taught me how to choose the right and find true happiness. As my husband and I raise our young family, I am grateful that my Heavenly Father answers my prayers and loves me. I know that Joseph Smith's humble prayer was answered and that he restored the Gospel in our time. I know that we have a living prophet and we can receive personal revelation in our own lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it blesses my family as we study it together.

How I live my faith

I feel that serving others is a great way to live my faith. At home, I serve my family by helping my children learn about our Savior. We eat dinner together each day and talk about the importance of being kind. At church, I serve in the children's organization and try to teach them how to feel our Savior's love through lessons and activities. When I serve those around me, I grow closer to my Savior and know that we are all children of God.
