Hi I'm Faith

I am an artist, designer, avid movie goer, a wife, and an expectant first time mommy. Oh, and I'm also a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Faith McLaws and I live in Thatcher, Arizona with my dear husband. We recently moved here in order for him to continue his schooling and new job. I'm 21 years old, I am an artist, designer, avid movie goer, I am also a friend, sibling to two sisters and two brothers, aunt to my darling nieces and nephew, daughter to my loving parents, and I'm a stay at home expectant mommy of a baby girl!! We are so excited! I love to go to the desert to shoot and blow things up with my husband and brothers, I love to camp and I go as often as I can, I go rattlesnake hunting during the summer months, and I love to go on walks here in the beautiful Gila Valley.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the LDS church. It has made my life happy and fulfilled. I was baptized when I was 8, and always went to church, but being a teenager was hard, and I struggled finding my place in this world. I made mistakes, but I finally realized with great intensity that Christ died for me. I finally realized what a blessing prayer truly is, that I can speak with my Heavenly Father everyday. And he answers those prayers. I have a testimony that this church blesses its members with an eternal perspective: I know where I came from, I know why i'm here, and I know where I'm going. What a blessing this has been. I love my Savior with all my heart, and can't imagine life without this knowledge. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am constantly trying to live as an example of Him and His teachings. At church I fulfill all of my duties including my callings and visiting teaching. On top of my crazy schedule, I love to take time to go through the Young Women's Personal Progress book and work on things I'd like to improve upon in my life. Without the knowledge that I have of my Redeemer, His restored church, and my eternal goals, I don't know where I'd be.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes and YES! If a man and woman are married by the right athority, and in the right place (the temple), they can be sealed together for eternity. Not only that! But their children can be sealed to them for all eternity also. This is what is amazing about the restored gospel- God has given us the power to bind faimilys together forever. Show more Show less
