Hi I'm Tami

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Huntington Beach, CA. with four sisters and a single dad. I spent every Saturday playing softball.

About Me

I am a mother of two adorable girls and the wife of an outstanding photographer. I graduated from BYU with a BA in art history. I enjoy athletics, the beach, art and time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon but as I reached the age of 12 years old or so, my dad began to work away from home on the weekends, and I found myself getting myself to church. I could have easily stayed home on Sundays with my sisters or spent time at friend's homes but I felt deep within me a desire to go to the church. I knew it was where I needed to be. I knew it because I had a testimony of the Savior, and the Book of Mormon. I've continued to grow in the church and develop my testimony, but it is rooted in those early years as I decided for myself where I would spend my Sundays and who I wanted to be.

How I live my faith

I spend my time serving as a cub scout leader for the eight to eleven year old boys. I enjoy participating in a program which teaches boys important skills and keeps them away from video games, even if it is for an hour. I also spend my time with the little ones on Sundays, singing songs with them and watching their excitement as we sing Jesus wants me for a sunbeam. I try to live my faith each day as I try to serve my fellowman and act as a good citizen.
