Hi I'm Alayna

I love scrapbooking, watching football and the color pink. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, aunt and friend, embracing all of life's triumphs and challenges. I am happiest when I am with family, friends, or watching football (if my team is winning, that is). I really enjoy doing crafty things like scrapbooking, card making and sewing. I have also tried my hand at cake decorating, fly fishing, and online dating...none of which were very successful. I love wearing flip flops and spending time in the swimming pool, but also love snuggling up during a snowstorm and sipping on hot chocolate. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world because I have a job that I love in the scrapbooking industry. I also have a great family that loves me unconditionally. And, of course, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints...which brings me my greatest joy and makes it that much easier to "enjoy the journey."

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. I love the gospel. It brings so much joy and peace to my life. The church is such a blessing. I know that this is Christ's church and that He is at the head of the church. I know that He has shown and prepared the way for me to return back to live with my Father in Heaven. I know that I am not perfect, but I am grateful for my Savior's atonement and sacrifice for me so that I can become perfected through Him. I am grateful to have a living prophet on the earth today, a mouthpiece for God. I know that I will be blessed as I heed his counsel. I am also grateful for the Book of Mormon and all other scriptures, as I can turn to them when I have questions and will always find my answer. I wish that everyone could feel the happiness that comes from being a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I find the best way to live my faith is by example. I am amazed at how many people can tell that there is something "different" about me just because of the way I act, dress or smile. And the reason is because of the church. I am currently in a very small singles branch which I love dearly. I have had many callings in my branch as a leader and activity planner. I recently received a calling to serve as the first counselor in our Relief Society, the women's organization in the church. I am happy when I serve others.
