Hi I'm Arthur

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My children would call me a family man, and family has been the source of my greatest happiness. I am a retired mechanical engineer, US army veteran, and like to be active. Friends are special. I like to do chores and projects around my home and for others. Caught up in genealogy, i am also working on my family history. My education through eighth grade was in a one room country schoolhouse with the same great teacher throughout that time.

Why I am a Mormon

I had answers to questions, such as why not prophets and apostles in our day, that my former Church did not satisfy. I found the answers and hope I sought through missionaries, personal study, and the Holy Spirit.I have a testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have bodies of flesh and bone and that you and I were created in their image. II know they appeared, aand spoke to, the prophet Joseph Smith Jr. I also Know that through the Holy Ghost, a personage of spirit, we can learn the truth of all things, That families can be together forever is dear to me,

How I live my faith

I love my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, and have served in many callings. I have been a Ward Clerk, Bishop. High Priest group leader, and served on several stake high councils. It was been a wonderful experience to teach and counsel our young men and young women. They are terrific. Many special and lasting friendships, and opportunities to serve, have come through home teaching. Serving one another is happiness to me.
