Hi I'm Kristy Smith

I have been married to my husband Jeff for 23 years, I am a mother of 3, I am a home maker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I don't ever recall questioning if the church was true or not, but with certain events that have happened in my life, it has given me the confirmation that I know it is true. My oldest sister passed away when I was in the 5th grade. Although our family was already very close this seemed to bring us even closer together. Since then, my mother and all of my grandparents have passed away and I am thankful for the knowledge in knowing we can be together forever and I WILL be able to see them once again. I love working with the youth in the church. I love playing games. I love having family get togethers. I love watching movies with my family. I love camping. I love swimming. I love doing things with my childrens and their friends and I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Going to church every Sunday and renewing the covenants I made at baptism gives me the reassurance and the fuel I need to continue on. I am thankful for a living Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, who can lead me and guide me on earth today. I am thankful for the Book of Mormon, another Testiment of Jesus Christ. I am thankful that Joseph Smith translated that book and restored the church. I know Jesus Christ lives and I know He died for each one of us. I know He knows my name and I know He loves me.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the Young Women President for girls ages 12-18. I have 22 girls that I consider my own and love very much. We have Sunday lessons and activities every Wednesday. I love to serve whenever I get the chance.
