Hi I'm Amanda

I am blessed with a beautiful family. I am a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother living in Kirkland, Washington. My husband and I have been married for seven happy years and have a two year-old daughter who brings excitement and joy into our home. I grew up in rural Nevada on a cattle ranch and spent my childhood raking hay, riding horses, branding calves, and working with my six brothers and sisters. I love the outdoors, reading, creative writing, and athletics.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and my continued membership defines who I am today. My knowledge of Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice not only provides a haven of peace in times of hardship and sorrow; it brings me complete happiness and contentment as I work toward living as He did.

How I live my faith

My husband and I have lived in six different states during our seven years of marriage. I am continually thankful for the worldwide presence of the Church. Wherever we go, we can instantly surround ourselves with others who share our beliefs. Through service in the Church I have been able to make a difference in the lives of children, young men and women, and my peers. They, in turn, have strengthened my faith and resolve to be better each day.
