Hi I'm Michelle

I love adventure. I'm a country girl at heart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the wild west. To some, it is known as Wyoming. I have been married for 2 years and have a very energetic toddler. Recently I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. My passion was teaching until I became a mom. I've put my teaching career on hold so that I can stay at home full time with my son. I teach piano to a handful of students and absolutely adore it. I have always craved adventure and thought that having a family would slow me down, but instead it's provided me with more adventure! There is nothing I love more than chasing my son around the house, or welcoming my husband home at the end of his busy day. My family is my everything, what seemed like a sacrifice at first has turned into my greatest blessing!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an active LDS family, so all growing up I was expected to attend church and religious activities. I never questioned whether it was true or not, because of the happiness it brought my family. After I graduated high school and was living on my own, I began to wonder if what I had been taught all my life was really true. That is when I asked the question, "Is this really Christ's church?" After some hard life experiences and feeling lost, alone, and surrounded by darkness, I realized then that I needed to come to know for myself whether the things I had been apart of all my life were real, And if the atonement of Jesus Christ could really take away the guilt and pains I was feeling. Through a lot of study in the Book of Mormon and Bible and countless hours on my knees praying, I can now say with all the assurance of my heart that Christ Lives and he did in fact die for me, to help me overcome my weaknesses and to give me a second chance. I know Christ has made it possible for my family to be together for eternity. I know his Gospel has been restored and we have a modern prophet that leads and guides the church under the direction of Jesus Christ. I know these things, not because I've been told to believe them, but because I have felt the Holy Ghost bear witness to me over and over again. I had a hard time recognizing my answer at first but God is patient and continued to answer my prayers until I was prepared to recognize them.

How I live my faith

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has given me real joy in this life and has brought so much happiness into my family. I am so grateful and will be forever indebted to my Heavenly Father. I strive daily to share the "Good Word" with everyone I meet, so they may have the same joy in their life.
