Hi I'm Dave

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have several hobbies that I enjoy. My favorite would have to be fishing in high mountain lakes and streams, however there isn't always enough available time to do this as much as I would like. Gardening seems to be the easiest to accomplish and I enjoy the harvest. I am married to a young lady who was my first and only blind date. Together we have raised three children and have three grandchildren, with a fourth on the way. They are such a joy to be around and they live near-by.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed deeply in the existance of Jesus and Heavenly Father. What I lacked was a personal relationship. I have gained the knowledge that I lacked to fully understand my role in this process. I learned to be accountable for myself and that one of the greatest gifts I could be given was the Miracle of forgiveness. This key gift allowed me to repent and be baptised by the proper authority and to recieve the companionship of the Holy Ghost. I am so greatful for the attoning sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for me and all others that they might be forgiven their transgressions and try to live their lives as he would have us live. I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon and testify of the gospel truths they each contain.

How I live my faith

I have served in my Ward or congregation in many ways. That is one of the greatest joys I have experiienced as a member. There is no paid clergy, and I currently am serving in this capacity. What I have been blessed with is an opportunity to learn to Love the members of our Ward Family. The chance to serve our community is also available to us as members, there is a great power in projects done for the love of our neighbors. The future of our youth is of the utmost importance to us and we teach them to Love God and country and that education is necessary for their future happiness and that Jesus Christ is our Lord and that he Loves us and knows us individually.
