Hi I'm Laura

I am the fifth of 8 kids, and now a busy mother of three. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Arizona, Michigan, Ilinois and Utah. I came from a family of ten. We are very close and love spending time together. I love sports, crafting, sewing, and cooking most of the time. I found the love of my life quickly and married him at 19. He is a returned missionary from Los Angeles, CA. He served his mission in Chile. We now have three kids, 3 and under, almost no money and couldn't be happier. Our favorite thing to do is spend time with our families and play with our children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because that is how I was raised. However I do not follow blindly. I am so glad I was born into a family who was so firm in this church. I found out for myself that the Gospel was true. I prayed and fasted and read my scriptures about this, and I truely know this is the true church. I love it! I really love it. It is my life, my whole life. This is not something that I love or attend on Sundays, but it is my sustainance to living. I communicate with my Heavenly Father daily through prayer. He guides and directs me through the course of my life. My Savior DIED for me, the least that I can do is LIVE for Him. I am a Mormon because family is one of the most important things in the world to me. I want to be with my parents and siblings forever. I want to be with oy amazing husband and wonderful children forever. They are doing their part to endure faithfully, so I need to as well if I want to be with them. I want to raise my children as active members of the Gospel so I can best lead them by example. I LOVE THIS GOSPEL!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the simple fundamentals we are taught so frequently. I pray daily, I read scriptures daily. I fast on fast Sundays and attend the temple. We strive to keep all the commandments and covenants that we have made. The neat thing is I can always do more or better. There is always something to work on because our goal is to be like our Savior, who is perfect. At this stage in my life with three little ones the way I live my life may seem frivolous. I am changing diapers all day, cleaning messes and trying to keep my sanity. So I try each day to have more patience, and try to show my love better through hugs, laughs, or just playing with them. I live day to day doing these small things to raise my children with faith that this will eventually pay off and my children will learn these principles and apply them to their lives as they grow. So in short I live my faith by doing the fundamentals and putting a smile on my face and heart as a tackle each day, knowing Heavenly FAther is aware of all I do!
