Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a mom. I'm a military wife. I'm a photographer. I went to school for Physical Therapy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a small town but am now acclimating to the "big city." I enjoy photography, fishing, running, builiding, and decorating my little casita:). I am a mom of three children. I got my education in Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant, but now am blessed to be a "stay-at-home" mom. It is my dream job, my children are constant reminders of what is important and keep my life in perspective. My husband is my best friend. He is an extremely motivated individual which keeps me motivated and moving forward. He is in the military, which does separate us for short periods of time, but makes us grateful for the time we do have together and that our family can be together forever. even after this life. We have our flaws, but we know that we can constantly improve and do better, and thats the beauty of this time we have here on this earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by extremely good people. My parents understood the concept to teach their children correct principles but let them govern themselves. They were not perfect and neither was I but I understood the principles of the gospel. I have an extremely independent personality that helped me research the church to discover my own testimony. I have come to depend greatly on the Lord and He has blessed my life in every way. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon, time after time I have had prayers answered through reading the scriptures. I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ's atonement and am infinitely grateful for Him. I have come to understand the power of prayer and enjoy conversing openly with my Heavenly Father. I have had trials in my life where I have felt scared or alone, and the Lord has been mindful of me and has answered my prayers. I know that the Lord directs my path and puts people into my life that have helped me to come to understand His plan for me. And to that I am extremely grateful.

How I live my faith

I feel that my faith completely guides my life. I know who I am, I know my Heavenly Father loves me. I don't feel pressure to impress anybody or do ridiculous things in order to conform to society or what is sociably acceptable. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy clothes shopping and getting my daughter dolled up:). But I know I don't need to dress inappropriately to get attention, or take in harmful or addictive substances into my body. I am blessed to work with the the children in our congregation from age 3 until 12. I love watching these special kids pick up on concepts of the gospel that I learned as an adult. I feel the Holy Ghost testify as the stories of the scriptures and principles of the gospel are being taught to them. I understand I need to keep an eternal perspective of things and that helps me when making decisions in my day to day life. As long as I keep that in mind, I can make correct decisions with regards to myself and my family.
