Hi I'm Loren

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a widower. I am retired. I spend a lot of time wondering the desert around where I live. I spend time volunteering for the wild life refuge that is near me. I am a photographer and enjoy photographing nature. I enjoy the study of plants. I have four children and nine grand children. I enjoy spending time with my family when I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but became inactive during my teenage years. In my early twenties I met my wife. I knew the way I was living wasn’t right and I wasn’t really happy. I straitened up my life so I could be married in the temple. I have never regretted that decision. I feel living a Christ like life is the only way I can be truly happy. I love my family and the gospel teaches me that I can have my family for ever if I follow Christ teachings. I know that Christ lives and that through his teachings I can return to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I try through the way I live my life to set an example of what Mormonism is all about. I am active in my ward. I visit some of the families in my ward once a month to see how they are doing and leave a gospel message for them. I like to help out my neighbors in their yards or anything else I can help them with. I volunteer at the wildlife refuge and there by associating with other people in the community.
