Hi I'm Ashley

I am the wife of a professional basketball player who's job takes us all over the world. I am Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to a little two year old girl named Taimi and married to a professional basketball player. I have lived in 3 different countries and packed up and moved 7 times in the last 1.5 years. Although my life is always on the move and completely unpredictable there is always one constant in my life and that is my Heavenly Father Jesus Christ and His Church. My life is full of confusion due to living in a foreign country, eating foreign food, shopping in foreign grocery stores, cooking with foreign ingredients all the while not understanding a foreign language. I love to read, run, lift, sweat and play. I love to travel and see the beauty of this world and most importantly I love my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. I love believing in something so strong that I revolve my life around it. I love knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who invests an amazing amount of time and energy in me just to ensure that I am happy and safe. I love that God loves me so much He actually cares how I talk, dress, act, eat, drink and live my life. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy it gives me a purpose and because I know it's right. I know it's right because God told me I know because he has answered my prayers.

How I live my faith

One day at a time... I served a 18 month mission for my church in Columbus Ohio. I serve those around me who have needs I can fulfill. I talk to the youth on a regular basis in and out of our church about the dangers of the world. I teach my daughter to walk in truth and righteousness. I love my husband and am fiercely faithful to him. I have taught the women and children in our church about various topics, such as obedience, forgiveness, looking for the joy in our lives, etc. I love my neighbors. I do as God as commanded. I repent often. And I live to qualify for the Holy Ghost so that I can be someone the Lord can rely on to help His work progress and bring happiness and light to those around me.
