Hi I'm Jim

I was born and raised in Connecticut and now I'm in Arizona going to college to become a mechanical engineer. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy driving around aimlessly in search of the perfect scenery or sandwich, whichever comes along first. :) I greatly enjoy spending time with the people I love whether it's playing a game, working on some kind of project together, watching a movie, or good old fashioned talking. I greatly enjoy serving my fellow man and will always try to help someone in need.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother got baptized and I saw the difference that it made in her life. She just seemed happier. In response to her happiness, I actually opened my ears and listened to the missionaries instead of barely acknowledging their presence. Once I opened my ears, my heart followed shortly thereafter. One day several weeks later, I felt the spirit as I sat in church and knew at that moment I wanted to be baptized and join in my opinion the true church. It just feels right and there's no real way to explain it. You've just got to go and see it for yourself and be prepared to be welcomed with open arms.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and love what I hear every single time I go. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't go, it's as simple as that. I live up to the high standards of the church because I want to, not because someone is telling me to. I try to be the very best person I can possibly be and I apply that in my personal life and also as a home teacher to 3 wonderful families that are also from the same church. It's wonderful getting to know so many new people.
