Hi I'm Jason

I was born and raised in Sonora, California. I am a percussionist, and a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jason, and I was born in raised in a foothill town in Northern California. Currently, I live in Provo Utah with my wife and, we have been married for over a year. Marriage is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am studying at BYU with a major in Information Systems. I also march in the Cougar Marching Band on the drumline. Drums are one of my passions along with, my family, music, and being happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and I am so grateful for it. My parents taught me how to live the gospel when I was growing up, it has stuck with me. It has become a lifestyle now. While growing up there wasn't an exact moment, that I knew that this was the true church of Jesus Christ. It was more of a gradual process. The more that I lived the gospel, the more happy I was. I really like being happy, and when I live the gospel, I am happy. I am still working on my full conversion to the gospel, but a big part of it was serving as a full-time missionary. I served in Italy for two years, and when I saw the power of the gospel in other people's lives, it really strengthened my testimony. As I helped others come closer to Christ, I noticed that I too was drawing closer to Him. I know that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet that restored the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth again. Jesus Christ lives, and loves us. I know we can live with Him and our Heavenly Father with our eternal families again. It is true, and I will never deny it.

How I live my faith

I live the Mormon faith on a daily bases. Everyday, I try to exemplify the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ everyday
