Hi I'm Melanie

I'm a native to Arizona. I'm a wife and mother to four children. I'm a domestic engineer (stay-at-home-mom). I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full-time mom to four busy children ranging in age from preschooler to teenager. While I do the busy work of taking care of the home and children my husband is off working part-time and going to school full-time. I enjoy baking, sewing and crafting. I also enjoy photography and am a complete amateur so I aspire to learn more about it in the near future. My family is my world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. My parents both converted to the LDS church early in their marriage. I was born the last of five children and grew up in a household of love, faith and testimony. At the age of eight I chose to be baptized a Mormon and couldn't be happier with that decision I made all those years ago. My love for Jesus Christ and His atonement has grown and been strengthened throughout my life. I find great strength in knowing that my Heavenly Father sent me here with a purpose and a plan and that He loves me unconditionally. And although I have endured many trials and will continue to endure more trials in my lifetime I know that my Savior Jesus Christ died for me so that I can overcome these trials and know true happiness. I am never alone even when times can be hard, He loves me. He loves all of us. He wants us to return to live with Him someday. Knowing this gives me a feeling of peace and comfort each and everyday.

How I live my faith

Most recently my husband and I have been team-teaching Sunday school to a group of sixteen and seventeen year old's in our ward. It has been a really great group of youth. I will soon be getting involved with the cub scout program in my ward as a den mother and look forward to learn more about the scouting program and what it has to offer.
