Hi I'm Michelle

I was born and raised in Chile and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of seven children. I was born into a great family with loving parents that showed us how to love and serve others and spent a lot of time finding ways to do so. Growing up in Chile was a lot of fun, much of my days were spent going to school, playing soccer and volleyball at church with my brother and friends, singing in church choir and playing the guitar. Now I am all grown up with 3 amazing kids and a wonderful husband that bring so much joy into my life. I am blessed enough to stay at home with the kids and enjoy driving them around to and from practices. I am a never ending fountain of projects to work on, I can never sit still, I am always doing something to keep my sanity. I am a massage therapist and I love what I do, I am not into the relaxing spa techniques but into helping people regain movility of their body after injury. Life is great, I am so thankful for it and loving every second of it.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints before I was born. They lived the gospel of Jesus Christ everyday of their lives and are great examples of righteousness. You may think having a big family could be a bit chaotic, but I dont think it was. My parents taught us of Christ and how our Heavenly Father would like us to behave, once we had that knowledge it was easier to make the right choices, work together and get along. I am not saying we never made mistakes, making mistakes is part of being human, the important part is to repent of our mistakes and get back to the straight and narrow path that brings us closer to him.Living the gospel of Christ fills my life with joy, we are blessed for our efforts and our commitment to follow Christ. We are blessed with peace and filled with hope even during adversity. I can testify without a doubt of the inmense love my Savior has for me and for all people, his arms are always open waiting for us to come to him. It is because of this love that I see all around me that I want to be the best person I can be.

How I live my faith

Being a mormon is not something we do only on Sundays. Our Heavenly father wants us to be good people all the time. I try to volunteer every chance I can, I enjoy helping in my kids school providing any kind of help needed, I was treasurer for their school PTSA and also for a local Mom's club where we raised funds all year for different local organizations that needed support . I am always ready to help out with a home cooked meal, or massage someone when they are in pain whenever there is a need. I teach a lesson at church once a month and I enjoy that very much, preparing to teach a lesson allows me to study in depth gospel principals and gain a stronger testimony of them. I believe in being kind and real, I don't pretend to be someone I am not I just try to be myself and I really try to like everyone I meet. I believe that smilling is contagious, so I try to smile and greet everyone I see, I now this must seem simple and not very important but to me it is. I try to picture how the Savior was, his kindness and compassion toward all, that is what I am working towards.
