Hi I'm Gianina

I have dishes to wash, children who are arguing, a dance class to prepare, a phone ringing and I'm living my dream! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name and nose are Italian. Have been married to my true love for 15 years. Grateful to be the mother of four beautiful kids. Love dance! Chocolate and humor are my stress relievers. Enjoy decorating, watching movies, spending time with family and friends. Family, food, and my religion are very important to me!

Why I am a Mormon

When I think of the word Mormon, I like to emphasize the sound of the word "more." Being a Mormon has brought so much more happiness, peace, meaning, and hope into my life! I know that we have a purpose here on earth, and that helps me to strive to become more like Jesus Christ. He is a great example of love, service, and sacrifice. These are all things that I believe in and try to emulate more in my life. I know that because of him, I am able to repent of the things that I do wrong. Which happens a lot now that I am a parent! This gives me more hope as I try to raise a family and grow individually. I believe that family relationships will continue after this life. This gives me more reason to try harder to help my children learn to love, help, and cherish each other. Even though I spend a great deal of my time refereeing, I hold on to that knowledge, and pray that they will come to appreciate that as I have with my own extended family. This also has brought me more peace when loved ones have passed away. One "more" thing that has brought me peace, meaning, and hope into my life is the Book of Mormon! It is a book that has helped me come closer to God, and his son Jesus Christ. I obtained my own testimony of this book, through, reading, studying, and praying. This book can truly change your life. I am grateful to be a Mormon and have found sincere happiness through living its teachings!

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon affects my everyday life in many positive ways. In my introduction, I mentioned some of the things I deal with on a daily basis. Yes, I often have dishes to do, but those dishes remind me of how grateful I am for the good things in life like food! Being Italian, food is very important! I find great joy in delicious food and for being able to feed my family! Our family says a prayer before each meal expressing thanks for all of the blessings that we enjoy. Yes, arguments arise between children sometimes even over who gets to say the prayer! But they are learning the importance of prayer, and speaking personally to a Heavenly Father that loves and cares for them. The phone ringing, is often my husband. I am grateful to have a spouse where we are working towards common goals. Our marriage is a priority in our lives and has brought us much happiness. I teach dance classes to young children. I find great joy in doing something that makes me happy that I can share with others. I believe that we all have something to share. This year I had the opportunity of witnessing some friends of our family learn more about the Mormon Church. I personally watched as their lives were positively affected because of The Book of Mormon, and the examples that they had seen from other members of out church. That experience is something I will never forget, as our family was able to share something that is so special to us with someone else. In Church, I have a responsibility of overseeing the service in our womens program. My heart is always touched as I get to serve and watch acts of service being performed by different women. We are often found taking dinners into families, watching over children, collecting supplies for shelters, etc. Our goal is the same; to be more Christlike. He taught us all how to live. He continues to be my reason I live my faith. There is "more" to life in being in a Mormon.
