Hi I'm Nanci

onetwothreeGO!!! I'm Mormon.

About Me

So I'm pretty great at having fun. I think I don't smile enough... ha ha ha! jokes! I love adventures and daydreaming. and often I daydream about having adventures. Sewing is something that pleases me. I keep trying to design my own clothes but I don't know yet how to make patterns or sew something with out one. So most of the time I fail but that doesn't keep me from trying again! Every year I make my nieces and nephews Halloween costumes and mine too obviously (mines the best) and I'm pretty sure every year I go more and more extravagant. I really love movies. I sometimes make attempts at making them. They are super fun and they are all masterpieces. I'm studying Film Production in school (who isn't, right now???) and I'm pretty sure I'll be poor for the rest of my life but at least I'll be having fun! Umm, what else is about me? I also read plenty. Which is a funny story because I didn't when I was a teeny tiny kid with a bowl cut and half a front tooth. My dad would complain that I didn't read enough. And now he complains--sometimes--that I read too much... BAAAAH! Grew up in California, live in Arizona, on an extended stay in Alabama.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an entirely Mormon family. When I was a kid, the restored gospel was so true to me that I never really considered it religion. It was history. As a teenager, I didn't question my faith, but I didn't strengthen it either. It was habit. Now that I'm an adult and making decisions for myself, I study and ask questions all the time. My testimony in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has grown beyond what I imagined. Because of miracles and blessings in my life, I can say with confidence that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and for everyone. Being raised in a Mormon family has shaped the kind of Mormon that I am today.

How I live my faith

Every day I read my scriptures. Sometimes, I think that its boring and that I will die if I read the scriptures instead of some fantastic novel but I never did. In fact, I feel more alive when I read them. They stay with me all day, every day. Somehow, I'm able to remember what inspirational words I read that morning and it turned out to be exactly what I needed for whatever trial I faced that day. The Book of Mormon especially helps me live a wonderful life full of forever happiness. Every day I share my testimony with someone. And when I say every day, I mean every minute! The symbol of the Mormon religion is the lives of the members. I strive to live like Jesus would have me do. I set a good example for those who look up to me. And I actually do literally share my testimony every minute. The more I use it the stronger it becomes.
