Hi I'm Trasi.

I'm African. I'm an aspiring attorney. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a Black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a Red belt in Han Mu Do. I love to write, read, sing, and belly dance. I'm a single mother. I'm a full time student. I'm receiving my Masters degree in Criminal Justice in 3 months. and applying to law school to pursue a career as a prosecutor.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert and adopted. I practiced many religions and still felt empty. I saw the missionaries and figured I had nothing left to lose, so I invited them over to my home. Subsequently, I lost family and a place to live. I was homeless for several months. I went to a nearby Christian homeless shelter, looking for a place to sleep, and they accepted me until they found my Book of Mormon. They asked me to leave, and with none of my belongings and mildew clothes, I was homeless again. Lost and not welcomed anywhere, all I had was my Book of Mormon to use as a pillow as I slept whereever I could find room: behind convenient stores, in backyards, or in other people's homes. After attempting suicide several times, I had nothing left but Heavenly Father and desire. I follow the gospel because it's a way of life for me; i'm miserable without!

How I live my faith

I have two callings: I am the Compassionate Leader's Assistant and Ward Missionary. They don't feel like callings because they are innate.
