Hi I'm Patrick

I am blessed, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

There are three places I love to be with my wife and 3 children. Camping in the great outdoors, boating at beautiful lakes, and worshiping at church.

Why I am a Mormon

From my youth I have known that Christ restored his full gospel on the earth. This has always provided great comfort to have a knowledge of where we came from, our purpose on earth, and where we are going after we die. I recall when I served a mission observing how utterly distraught and hopeless people felt when a member of their family passed away. Of course it was a sad moment to not have them with them anymore. However, the sadder part was them not knowing what our Heavenly Father's plan was for them and seeing the lack of hope they felt. I am truly grateful to my Heavenly Father and to Jesus Christ for proving the opportunity of salvation to all mankind. For providing the hope to know that our families can be eternal and that this life is a part of this wonderful eternal plan. What comfort this is to know, and why I love to share this beautiful message.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping a focus on Jesus Christ. I do this by doing my best to teach my children the teachings of Christ. To put God first in their lives, to be kind and respectful to others, to serve, and to be humble. Of course our family is not perfect and will never be while on this earth. With each day comes a renewed desire and that is enough as long as we do our best to emulate our Saviors teachings. At church I serve as the Bishop in our congregation. This gives me the great privilege of working with all members yet gives me extra time with the youth. What a great joy it is to see these young people develop and mature. Despite the evils and trash they have to live with each day, they do their best to live their religion and to be a light to the world.
