Hi I'm Renon

I was born and raised in Arizona. I'm a daughter, a wife, a mother, a hairstylist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a diverse background that makes me feel like a round peg in a square whole, while others might say they feel like a round peg in a square whole. I come from a half inactive mormon family and a half trying to figure it out family. I am a hairstylist who dabbles in sewing, cooking, reading and toddler entertainment.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being mormon. I know the church is the true church of Christ because it is alive. We read and learn from every prophet that has been on the earth and every day in small ways the Savior administers to me by the holy spirit. I feel like my whole life has culminated to witness to me the many miracles the God preforms for his children and I am so glad that he never gave up on me or my rebellious nature. I have been challenging and fairly I have been challenged. My husband isn't present in our everyday lives and Heavenly Father blesses me immessureabley. Being mormon on the outside may look like a bunch of restriction but it is so much more. Being a Latter Day Saint is expiriencing miracles great and small. I know everyday how much Heavenly Father and The Savior love us.

How I live my faith

I spend the last two hours of church playing with toddlers and getting snacks. It is so conveinent because my son is one! I have served in different areas of the church with the women of the church as well as the teenagers. This is by far the most rewarding. I am the daughter of an alcoholic and always around people who don't share my faith. Many people don't understand my "dry" lifestyle and challenge it. Seeing the other side of how life could be strengthens my knowledge that this is right. I am continually gratefull for the gospel and the expiriences that my son will have because of it. I am greatfull for the people in the church who continue to amaze me with their many talents and gifts.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

I don't know. Every expirience I have heard is so different but there are commonalities. First there is a great desire to know the will of Heavenly Father. Second you make an effort by studying it out in your mind, heart and reading the scriptures. Third The Holy Ghost will inspire you, I describe as a peacefull feeling unlike anything in the world and somewhat unexpected. So many things are designed to manipulate your feeling but the Holy Ghost seems to speak to your spirit with a quiet stillness whispering hope and and inspiring you. With the Holy Ghost once isn't enough and following God's commandements helps you feel him again and want Heavenly Fathers influence in your life. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is imprortant to us because they allow us to learn our greatest lessons and bring us the greatest joy. Show more Show less
