Hi I'm Pam

I have 5 children. I was adopted at the age of 18. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 5 and grandmother of 6. In my childhood I attended 15 schools in 12 years, but I wasn't a military child. My parents divorced when I was one. I have taught all age groups at church, but really like the youth. I manage a health food store. I enjoy reading, listening to music and being with my children and grandchildren. I recently walked a 5k for breast cancer research.

Why I am a Mormon

My search for the gospel of Jesus Christ began about the age of 8. I attended other churches with friends, baby sitters, etc. I had a few times when my prayers were answered so dramatically and quickly that I knew that God was there caring for me. I began my search to find the church that made me feel the same way I did when my prayers were answered. In 8th grade I attended a new school and had a different group of friends who really cared about me. I began attending their church, which was The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I then felt what I had been searching for and found out it was the Spirit of Christ or the Holy Ghost that had touched me so many years before!

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures daily, say personal prayers morning and night. I help others to do the same. I work with the youth on Sunday and Wednesday. I try to emulate the gospel for others to see by living the way Jesus taught us in the Gospels of the New Testament. I have taught my children to be considerate of others and to treat others as they would like to be treated.
