Hi I'm Matt

I'm live in Arizona, have six children (two adopted) and three foster children. I am a police officer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started my married life working as a landscaper. I loved the work but wasn't making enough to support a growing family so I looked for a new job. I found one as a police officer. I've been an officer for over 10 years now and love serving my community. I have a special wife who loves me and loves kids. We have been foster parents for several years now for children with disabilities and love to serve them as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because from a young age I felt a need to know the truth about who I am and who God is to me. I found this answer when I prayed to God to know these answers. In a very special and personal way, the Lord answered my prayers. I know God lives. I Know that Jesus Christ is His son, and through Jesus Christ my sins were forgiven. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His true and living church. I know there are living prophets on the earth today, called by God to lead us. I know I can turn from sin, repent and change for the better to become a better disciple of Christ as I follow His example and teachings. I know these things because God has answered my prayers by the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as a counselor to the Bishop. I have always known that God would require much of me and am glad to serve him by serving the people around me. I will continue to serve my God until he calls me home to him.
