Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a wife and busy mom of 6 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom who's in the car more than at home! With my 6 wonderful kids comes 6 different schedules and 6 different places to be...often at the same time! With teenagers to preschoolers, having such a large family has it's share of challenges, but there is never a dull moment and I wouldn't rather be doing anything else.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the church of Jesus Christ, his gospel, has been restored to the earth. I believe that we are all children of a Heavenly Father and that He has not left us here alone. I believe He speaks to us through living prophets today. I also believe that the Book of Mormon is true scripture and teaches us many important truths. I believe that we will return to Heavenly Father someday and I believe that families can be together forever. Knowing that I am a child of God gives this life perspective, helps direct my choices, and gives me hope. I love my family so much that finding words to describe it is difficult. Knowing that my husband, our children and our family can be together forever brings me peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live an honest, good life. I strive to live the commandments and follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I'm not perfect, but knowing that Heavenly Father loves me keeps me going when trials come. I work with the children at church. We teach them basic gospel principles such as faith, repentance and baptism. We teach them about making good choices like dressing modestly, using clean language and serving and showing love to others.
