Hi I'm Jason

I love surfing endless waves and riding Co. mountain trails. I'm a husband, a father of 4, a business owner, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a father of four, with a son (16) and three daughters (14, 13, 10). My wife Kendra, of 18 years now, is the best thing that has happened to me for sure! My brother and I have owned a growing business in the Denver area since 2003. I grew up in Texas-love Texas! Moved to Highlands Ranch in 2003-love it here! Hobbies are many, according to Kendra. Wakeskating, wakesurfing, and taking walks with Kendra are my most recent finds. Mountain Biking, riding my KTM at rampart with my son Hayden and My brother Shane, spending time at Lake Powell, BJJ/grappling, muai thai/boxing, and watching my children develop their talents are some of my favorite things to do. I also love going to sporting events-local high schools, college or professional sports. My favorite game attended was the Rockies play-in playoff game against San Diego in 2007.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a father of three teenagers, I love the standards and moral values that are taught with in the LDS church. Society today constantly bombards our young men and women with blatant and subtle messages that happiness is found in ways that ultimately bring frustration, sorrow, and the loss of their God given agency to choose. My wife and I love the youth of the church and see the positive influence and goodness that is found in the young people of the Mormon faith. As a member, I have gained a love for Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. The Saviors atoning sacrifice has had a profound and sustaining impact on my life. During the most difficult times, I have felt God's love and have known that he was aware of me and my family. God the eternal father and his son Jesus Christ live and love me and my family-I just know it.

How I live my faith

The wonderful thing about being a member of the LDS church is the opportunity of serving others. Presently, I have the best calling in the church. I get to work with the young men in my ward that are 12-18. Basically I get to hang out with the youth and do the funnest things. Just this past Wednesday, the activity we planned was rained out. So, we put garbage bags on and slid down a hill in the rain for an hour-what a blast! More importantly, I get to teach the 16-18 yr. old young men on Sunday and on many other occasions. Being a part of the youth's spiritual growth, helping them understand who the Savior is, and seeing the young men make good Christ like choices has been extremely gratifying.
