Hi I'm Evan

I'm a full-time missionary, I'm a tech-enthusiast, I'm an outdoor adventurer, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am serving a full-time mission in Peru. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me so much joy and happiness that I want to share this message with as many people as possible. I enjoy many activities in the outdoors including running, hiking, camping, and swimming.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been blessed by being raised in the gospel by my parents. I have such a strong testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness it provides. The Plan of Salvation has given me a clear direction of my purpose in life: to be worthy to return to live in God's presence again. Being a committed member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and living all the commandments of God bring so much peace and comfort to me that I know it is true.

How I live my faith

Our prophet has asked that all young men be worthy and serve a full-time mission, which I am doing right now. This involves finding people who may be interested in the gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching investigators the doctrine and principles of the gospel, and doing service for those in need.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Evan
Our body is like a temple that should be kept clean and spotless from harmful substances. By not partaking of addictive substances, you don't have to be relying on those substances to live your day-to-day life. So even though it might seem restrictive to live by the Word of Wisdom, it actually gives you more freedom to avoid addictions of all types. Show more Show less
