Hi I'm David Lassen

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Washington state. After living in Utah for a few years, I moved back to Washington.

About Me

I am married and a father of four. I work for the WA National Guard. I enjoy all sports and play basketball with my friends when I have time. I played baseball in high school and enjoy helping my kids learn how to play sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this church is true. This is the same church that Christ established when he was on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. By reading and studying the Book of Mormon along with the Bible, one can draw closer to God. It has worked for me. I know that when I read the scriptures, I am able to fight off the temptations of Satan easier. I am greatful for a church that teaches that families can be together for eternity. Being sealed to my family in His holy temple is one of the greatest gifts that has been given to me. I know that Christ atoned for my sins so that I can repent and return to live with Him again. I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ. The Book of Mormon is true and that Thomas S. Monson is a true and Living prophet. Knowing these truths give me purpose in this life. It helps me know who I am, where I came from, and where I am going after this life. I know that you too can lean these same things to be true by reading the Book of Mormon and asking the Lord through personal prayer, to answer your questions about the truthfulness of His gospel.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the youth in our area. We do all kinds of activities that help the youth become better people. We do service projects, as well as recreational and scouting activities. Working with the youth helps me strengthen my testimony of the gospel.
