Hi I'm Corey

I'm a husband, a father, and a fire juggler...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a small town in Northern Idaho. I grew up in a family of six kids in a house full of music. Dad raised us on The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Moody Blues, etc. We were one of the few families in town that would go Christmas Caroling in full 4-part harmony! After high school I served a two-year mission in southern Brazil, and after that I went to college to fulfill my dream of making videos for a living. After meeting and marrying my beautiful wife, having my first child, and attending film school in Vancouver, B.C. we settled down in the great state of Washington! Now I'm living the future I always dreamed of. I travel the globe shooting videos, and love my job. Of course I get to continue to do music! My sister and I write children's music, and we travel the Inland Northwest putting on music and juggling shows. Through my music I get to meet all different kinds of people, and I frequently perform for different denominations. It's a pretty good life!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well first, I absolutely love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and everything I do revolves around my desire to be like the Savior. The gospel helps me to become more like Him through giving me guidance on how to live my life. The sweetest part of the Gospel for me is the power of Eternal Marriage. I absolutely adore my wife (and she puts up with my fire juggling antics so well), and the thought of not being with her after this life is heart-wrenching for me. The greatest day of my life was the day I married her in the temple for all eternity. I love the healthy lifestyle the Mormon church promotes. We believe in keeping our bodies healthy and clean, maintaining healthy finances, and a basement full of food storage (which for me means sneaking into the chocolate chips after the kids are asleep)! What's not to love?

How I live my faith

I love the different responsibilities that are placed upon members of the church. I currently serve in three capacities: 1 - DJ - I'm in charge of putting on all the dances for the youth ages 14-18. It's a great chance for them to have a good time while listening to great, clean music. Plus I get to perform live for them at times, which is a real treat for me. 2 - AV Specialist - I help run the cameras and sound equipment for church broadcasts and events. It's like being at work...at church! 3 - Teacher - I teach one of the classes on Sunday, for the men in the church. I love teaching the Gospel, as I get to learn so much about the gospel while preparing my lessons.
