Hi I'm Regan Smith

I am the 4th child of my family. I grew up in England, South Africa, Australia and, Colorado and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am about to go serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I am going to the Argentina, Buenoes Aires East Mission. I am reporting December 30, 2015. I was born in London and since then my family has also lived in South Africa, Australia, and Colorado. I go to Brigham Young University in Provo Utah and am currently undecided on which major I want to go into. I am the 4th child out of 5 in my family. Two of my siblings at this time are married and I am hoping that another one will be by the time I get back from my mission! I plan on coming back to Provo Utah after my mission and starting to live independently and hopefully finding out what I want to do as a career during that time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I love every moment I go to church. I love listening to church music because I can feel the spirit come into my heart. I really grew a testimony of Christ and His church when I read 3 Nephi 11:11 "And Behold, I am the light and the life of the world..." There is nothing really specific about this verse at all other than it being the moment that Christ bore testimony of who He was. However when I read this scripture I felt so touched by the Spirit and I could feel the Spirit tell me of the reality of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Book of Mormon. And that is why I am still a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I always try to live by the standards that I believe that Christ would want me to live by. I make sure that I go to church each week and pray and read scriptures daily. I am a Melchizedek priesthood holder and am about to go on a mission where I hope to serve the Lord completely in full dedicated time. I always try to make sure that I am following whatever promptings I am given by the Spirit and I try to always make sure that I do not have conflict with other people in my life.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Regan Smith
Mormons believe that families can stay together beyond death. We believe that if you follow Christ then you can be with your family again in heaven. I know in my life the most important thing that I value is my family and I want to be with them forever. Show more Show less
