Hi I'm Carma

I love life and am an optimist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a poet, a dreamer and a rose-colored optimist. I was born into the best home on earth with the freedom and opportunity to make the most of myself. In my youth I was a pilot, but marriage and a family of six children led me down a more enjoyable path. I love my husband and my posterity. They are my joy. I also enjoy good music and good books. I have worked in the business world. I am grateful for the computer. I am a Westerner having lived in California, Hawaii and Alaska. I currently live in the beautiful Northwest.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a kind and loving Mormon family and had many friends who strengthened my faith by their example and teachings. At the age of eight I was taught basic principles of the Gospel, which strongly resonated with my young soul. During this time I had my first experience with the Holy Ghost: I felt a burning from within and received knowledge that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I have felt the undeniable power of the Holy Ghost many times and I have witnessed first-hand how blessed are the lives of those who live by the principles taught by the Church. My membership in the Church is sacred to me and a source of great joy. I know that God lives and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. This is the doctrine taught by the Church and why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The Church provides opportunities to serve others by calling each of its members to various assignments that result in spiritual growth. My membership in the Church has provided me many opportunities to exercise my faith, develop my talents, serve others and grow personally. I have been taught and educated by remarkable people, both in and out of the Church. I’ve even been asked to teach others. I have participated in ward and stake choirs and dramatic stage productions as an actress/singer and pianist. I believe the principles of faith and repentance improve the quality of my life. Daily prayer and scripture study, along with weekly church attendance enable me to worship God. Living a faith-based life is rewarding in a very positive way. My goal is to endure to the end, faithfully and joyfully.
