Hi I'm Shilo

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Human Resources professional and I love my life! I like being busy; I work hard and play hard. I enjoy good books, movies, traveling and food. I can be sassy or stubborn at times, but I am working on being a better, kinder person. I have the best family and friends and they are such an important part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know in my heart and in my head that the teachings and the doctrines of this church are correct. I always had faith and hope that God existed and that He had a plan for me, but it wasn't until after I prayed about these things that I came to know them with a surety. When I attend church and read my scriptures and discuss the doctrines of the gospel, it just feels right and makes sense to me.

How I live my faith

Church keeps me busy... which is a good thing! I have participated within the church in many different capacities. I was the Camp Director for the Young Woman's camp in my stake for a couple years. I have been a teacher to adults and children. I planned activities and visited friends and strangers. In all of these things it was about bringing people together to share a sense of community. We were able to bond over the gospel. I love that this church allows me to live my faith daily, to have a personal relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and to understand that we are all God's children.
