Hi I'm Scott

I'm married, a father and a grandfather. I work with computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being a father and grandfather. I enjoy working with my hands. I'm a woodworker and gardener. I have a salt water aquarium.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been Mormons for over a hundred years, but I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. I have studied it out for myself, and come to know that it is true, not because my parents said so, but because I found out for myself. My religion brings me great peace in times of trouble. Numerous times in my life, doctors have told me that I have only days to live. The Lord has blessed me, and healed me repeatedly. During those trying times, the knowledge that I can be with my family forever has been a great comfort. I don't fear death, but I enjoy life.

How I live my faith

I try to be helpful in all that I do. I try to welcome new people to the neighborhood when the move in. At work, people tend to ask for my assistance, even when it isn't my job because they know I will try to help. I volunteer in the community, frequently doing computer work and designing web sites for various organizations. I work with the Boy Scouts of America. In everything I do, I try to ask myself, "What would Christ do?".
