Hi I'm Vivi

"I was born in Brazil and moved to the US five years ago. I have been a LDS my whole life and I love this gospel."

About Me

I was born in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. When I was five years old I moved to Temuco Chile where my father is originally from. I lived there for nine more years and moved back to Brazil where my mother is originally from. I have had the privileged to learn about these two amazing cultures such as their language, religions, habits, etc. After living four more years in Brazil, I had the opportunity to meet a returned-missionary from New York City. After dating for about 16 months we got married in the Manhattan Temple. I have been so blessed for having the gospel in my life, and for having the guidance of the holy ghost. Now after almost six years of marriage my husband and I, are expecting our first child. We are so excited to receive him to our home and we honestly hope to do our best in preparing our child to one day to return to our heavenly father. My husband and I have been very blessed, not only spiritually but also temporarily. I was able to finish my BS in Interior Design last year and my husband after completing his career in computer science was able to obtain a really good job in his field. I love spending time with my husband, I could say that he is one of my biggest "hobbies", soon it will not only be my husband but also my son.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in an wonderful family. I have two sister and one brother. My father have been a member of the church since he was twelve and my mom since she was fourteen. They have always served in the church. My dad is currently a Patriarch and my mom is currently the Stake President of the young women. I love my parents deeply and I am so proud of them. Thanks to their example I have been able to stay strong in the church and obtain my own testimony.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel by serving in the church. I currently teach every fourth Sunday in Relief Society. I also participate in the ward choir. I love singing and every time I have the opportunity to sing in church is a very emotional moment for me. I also live my faith by been an example to those who are not part of my beliefs, been kind to others and serving them. I also try to share the gospel every time I have an opportunity. It is not always easy to live our faith especially in times such as these, but the lord have always help me to keep strong and never lose site of my true life purpose.
