Hi I'm Justin

I am a Colorado native. Father of 4. Love to hunt and flyfish. I trade futures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Colorado, the oldest of five children. I met my wife (who is also a Colorado native) at local college and we currently have four wonderful children. My education consists of a MBA and a BS of Microbiology. My career and passion is in the financial industry as a independent futures trader. I love the outdoors, especially the Rocky Mountains, and am very active in hunting, hiking and fly-fishing throughout Colorado. I also enjoy reading, sports, and time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be raised in an active LDS family but my testimony wasn't fully established until my college years. At this time I realized how important the Gospel of Jesus Christ was to me. I have a testimony that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and is fully aware of me, my needs, desires, strengths and weaknesses. I know he sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for all of us, so that we may return to live with him. I know that through the fully restored Gospel and Priesthood, we can be sealed to our families for all of eternity. As a husband and father, this knowledge is a tremendous source of strength and comfort to me. I am a Mormon because of the hope and happiness that comes by following the teachings of Jesus Christ and knowing I am a Child of God.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon allows me to exercise my faith on a daily basis as I continually strive to improve myself and develop Christ-like characteristics. I am active in our ward as a leader of our men's group, serving them and helping them become the men they can be. I also participate in teaching the gospel to those interested in hearing more about Jesus Christ. My family is also active in our local Scout unit.
