Hi I'm Tina

I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I'm a mormon

About Me

I have lived all over the country and came to Nebraska after my divorce to attend college. I was an English major and graduated in December of 2010. In January of 2011 I met my husband Carlos and we were married in June in Portland, OR. I love the outdoors, especially camping, rafting, and boating. I also love to cook and bake. I enjoy entertaining guests in my home and making people feel welcome. I also love to read, watch movies, and hang out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, this is why I am a Mormon. My knowledge grew when I served my mission in Washington D.C. and I cannot deny the happiness I feel at knowing that my father in heaven loves me and has a plan for my life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints just makes sense to me. I identify with the family oriented teachings and the willingness to give service whenever service is needed. The Bible and The Book of Mormon are true witnesses of my savior and I know that if I follow his teachings I will live with my family for eternity and that my joy will be great.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving whenever I am asked. I currently work with the teenage girls of my region. Through teaching and interacting with them my faith has been increased and I have seen my life become richer and more blessed. I also live my faith by striving everyday to become the absolute best version of myself I can be. I am grateful for the opportunity that I have every day to rely on my savior and I can feel his love making me stronger.
