Hi I'm Bryce

I love playing sports. I love singing. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona. I have a mom and dad, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 1 sister-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, 3 nephews, and a niece. I served a mission on the east coast of Canada. Currently, I am attending community college. I plan on getting my BBA followed by a degree in Physical Therapy. In the summer of 2011, I worked as an intern for the US House of Representatives in Washington DC. I love all kinds of food, especially desserts. Chocolate chip cookies with milk is one of the best inventions ever! I also love the American Double Stuff Oreo dipped in milk. I am an Eagle Scout and love the United States Constitution and the principles this country was founded upon and I will live my life in it's defence. I love to play anything with a ball or a frisbee. I can also snowboard and I love it! I also love to sing and am learning to play the ukulele and tin whistle. God, Family, and Country are my top priorities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church and was baptized when I was 8. I often worried about not having a powerful conversion story to tell people while I was on my mission. So many missionaries seemed to have a moment in their lives or a story that they could tell about how they came to know that this was the Lord's Church. I could never draw upon one instance in my life where I came to find out that this was true. Rather, there have been many small and large instances in my life that have brought me to where I am now. I am at the point in my life where there is no doubt in my mind that, as surely as there is a God, this is His Church and that Jesus Christ directs it. I would not trade that knowledge for anything. I have written a portion of my feelings about Christ and this Church in the notes section of my facebook page. Check it out.

How I live my faith

I am the ward mission leader in my singles ward. So basically I help the members better know how to share this wonderful message with others and I also help the full time missionaries with whatever they need. My favorite thing is to see others lives change for the better when they begin to live their lives in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am also a home teacher which is one of the best callings we could ever receive. I love this program which allows the members to take care of eachother.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families provide a foundation we can build on. My family is important to me because we strengthen each other and are there for each other. I believe that the most important job in the world is being a parent. It is parents who shape the future by how they raise their children and it is within the family organization and in the home that the most important lessons of life should be taught.
